Paper Players Challenge #90 and Mojo Monday #236

Happy Thursday, blogger friends!  This afternoon I decided to combine the Paper Players Challenge with the Mojo Monday Sketch for the week.    I finished my card, and then checked the Paper Players blog and see that there are several similar to mine.  I try not to look at the blog until I'm finished so I won't be copying.  I guess great minds think alike.  Anyway, this is my card.

I cut out panels for the middle section in not quite navy, pool party, and certainly celery.  I embossed with three different embossing folders and made the layers.  Since I thought the card looked masculine, I added some early espresso ribbon with just a knot.  My sentiment came from the SU set Party Hearty.    Now I'm ready for the next guy birthday that comes along.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I think a lot of people used the Mojo sketch, but each of them are unique! I love your embossing, and the espresso ribbon is perfect. And are those little mini brads on there, too! Sweet! Thanks for using my Paper Players colors this week!

  2. Thanks so much for your kind words, LeAnne. The mini brads are actually metal stickers called Nailheads. I think I got them at Archivers. They are nice and flat and help make mailing easy!
