Merry Monday Challenge #12

Hello again, blogger friends!  I'm back with my card for the Merry Monday Challenge.  I was so excited to find out that I had won the Merry Monday Challenge last week.  It was my first challenge win, and I'm still thrilled!  This week's sketch lended itself to my favorite clean and simple style so that's what I did.  I once again dug into my DSP stash which I layered on some soft suede card stock.  I embossed the white strip and added some frost white shimmer paint.  I finished it off with some red ribbon.  My sentiment is from Short and Sweet Greetings.  Easy, huh?  It's such a good feeling to be doing these cards ahead of time.  Love this challenge!

  2. This is very pretty---I used up ALL of the DP, I believe, it was so beautiful! It looks great with the red, doesn't it?!
You had asked a question about my Merry Monday 12 card, and yes, I did use a die; it is a Memory Box die called Country Landscape. I got it at the end of last year and this is the first time I've used it!!! Thanks for you sweet comments, too! Have a great day!

  4. Congratulations on your win, Carol. I can't wait to see what you come up with next week. This card is a winner too. I love that DP. I don't have any of it, but might have to stamp some Crumb Cake and make some. Thanks for the inspiration.
